Culture Centre of the city of Novi Sad 25/26-01-2022

Terraforming organized the first Hannah seminar on January 25 and 26 in the Cultural Center of Novi Sad. The aim of the seminar was to inform about the long history of Jewish communities, as well as to raise awareness of antisemitism through the education of school teachers, librarians, archivists, museum workers and policy makers.

After the seminar, the participants filled out evaluation questionnaires. Their impressions were as follows: Excellent opportunity to learn from renowned international experts, personal interest such as making new contacts, gaining new experiences and knowledge, preparing for the Days of Remembrance, enriching and improving teaching tools to combat racist and antisemitic narratives in the classroom. They were also asked to answer questions regarding their professional engagement. Through their participation in Hannah’s training programs on teaching about the Holocaust and the fight against antisemitism, educators seek to deepen their knowledge of these important issues.
